
The Cumbria County Archery Squad competed at the Archery GB National County Team Championships, delivering solid performances across the board against strong national opposition.
The highlight for the squad came in the Mixed Tier 3 recurve category, where Simon Degler and Bev Love secured a silver medal after a closely contested final, proudly placing Cumbria on the podium. Leicester & Rutland claimed the gold medal, with Surrey taking bronze.
The championships were held in a fun and supportive atmosphere, with counties from across the country coming together to compete and celebrate the sport of archery. All of the Cumbria teams demonstrated determination and skill throughout the weekend, holding their own against some of the best county squads in the UK.
The result marks another strong showing for Cumbria archery, highlighting both individual talent and the strength of the squad as a whole.
